Emily is a second-year MPH student in Epidemiology and Research Methods at George Washington University. She holds a B.S. in Community Health concentrating in Global Health from George Mason University. During her internship, she will be assisting the Research Team within the organization.
Emily is passionate about environmental health and epidemiology, focusing primarily on vector-borne diseases. She hopes to find ways to mitigate the devastating effects the environment has on human health.
In her spare time, you’ll find Emily kayaking on the Rappahannock River, camping all over the East Coast, and playing video games with her friends.
