Healthcare Ready Announces New Board Member

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 9, 2018 – Healthcare Ready announced today the appointment of Erin Horvath to its board of directors. Horvath is a seasoned leader with extensive expertise in healthcare supply chain operations and business continuity.

 

“Ms. Horvath’s experience managing daily supply chain operations during blue sky days, as well as times of crisis, stands to deepen the expertise of our board in vital areas,” said Nicolette Louissaint, Ph.D., executive director of Healthcare Ready. “She is a recognized leader in her field and I am thrilled to welcome her to the organization.

 

Horvath brings more than 20 years of operations knowledge and logistics solutions to Healthcare Ready’s board. In her current role as the senior vice president of distribution services for AmerisourceBergen Corporation, Horvath leads the company’s core field and corporate operations teams. With a keen focus on operational excellence, she ensures quality operations and logistics across a nationwide network of pharmaceutical distribution centers, inclusive of operations, transportation, engineering, customer service and more.

 

Horvath received a master’s degree in business administration from Villanova University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the George Washington University.
