Heather is an intern for Healthcare Ready, where she provides support on a variety of projects. She is very excited to be part of the team to gain more experience with emergency preparedness and response efforts.

She graduated from Ohio State University in 2017, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Public Health. While at Ohio State she managed an HIV/STI test center and worked with clients to establish realistic risk reduction methods. Before joining Healthcare Ready, she worked at Columbus Public Health where she conducted health inspections and prevent/respond to foodborne outbreaks.

Heather is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Global Health Epidemiology at The George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health. In her free time, Heather enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
