Alessa Haller serves as a Programs Analyst with Healthcare Ready. As a Programs Analyst, she primarily supports cybersecurity, strategic partnerships, COVID-19, and information-sharing projects using her background in evidence-based policy making analysis and multilateral stakeholder engagement. Moreover, she supports the functioning and strategic goals of the Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) Sector.
Before joining the organization, Alessa worked as a government consultant for the Province of Limburg in the Netherlands, measuring the social impact of rural development subsidies. Simultaneously, she interned for the Office of Development Finance (ODF) in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) at the US Department of State, informing diplomats on critical international development issues.
Alessa is a Stanford University Innovation Fellow. She received a dual-degree Master of Science in Public Policy and Human Development from the Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (MERIT) at the United Nations University and Maastricht University’s Graduate School of Governance with a focus on Foreign Policy and Development. Her research focused on testing for framing effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in taxation to better understand US tax compliance intentions. Alessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (Diplomacy) and German, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Global Economy and Financial Markets) from Susquehanna University, having graduated with Cum Laude and Departmental Honors.
She enjoys traveling, riding her bike or Onewheel through the city, collaborating with researchers on designing a framework for comprehensive innovation in public policy, and surfing the internet in her free time.
