The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) has long championed health centers as the backbone of our healthcare system’s safety net. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, ACU partnered to provide much needed personal protective equipment (PPE) to over 100 health centers and convened a series of webinars on special topics related to the crisis. Collaboration with organizations like Healthcare Ready examined the unique role and challenges facing health centers during disasters.
