Angie Im is Healthcare Ready’s Associate Director of Programs and Policy. In this role, she oversees the organization’s portfolio of research projects with government agencies and private partners. Angie joins Healthcare Ready following several years developing and growing Silicon Valley start-ups building novel health solutions in healthcare. Her experience includes defining, launching, and scaling patient-centric operations for a consumer telemedicine company and driving organizational resilience for Fortune 500 companies through operational improvements.
Prior to her work in the private sector, Angie spent several years working with non-profit organizations and government agencies to deliver critical information transparency capabilities across various stakeholders, and translating scientific and technical knowledge to lay audiences through targeted and relevant communication assets. As the child of immigrants and service industry workers, at her core is a passion for service, relationship-building, and driving teams to build and uncover solutions that pave a path to quality, equitable health care. Ms. Im has a B.S. in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and M.S. in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
