Global Travel/Transportation Restrictions Map

Healthcare Ready created a COVID-19 Travel and Transportation Map to provide a global overview of measures taken by countries and businesses in response to COVID-19 impacting the movement of people and goods across countries. The tracker assigns scores in seven major transportation and movement variables pertaining to the movement of people and goods across countries.

How to Use the Global Map

The map displays information for measures related to the following seven (7) major transportation/movement variables: exports and imports, ports, land borders, flights, entry, exit, and other economic measures.

  • Scores are assigned for each variable at the country level based on each variable.
  • Individual variable scores are summed to create a country score, which is illustrated on the map with color.
  • Blue indicates movement is encouraged overall, and orange indicates movement is restricted.

Hover over a country to view specific measures that country has in place.

The global map was last updated on April 8, 2020 at 5:30pm ET.

Note: While most countries’ current measures should be accurate as of the above date and time, due to the volume and frequency of updates it is recommended that users confirm information before citing or acting upon it.
