Samson Mesfin is the Associate Director, Finance and Compliance at Healthcare Ready, where he provides financial and compliance leadership in the organization. Sam provides support in project budgeting, external audit preparation, implementation of internal controls, financial reporting, and grant financial compliance.

Before joining Healthcare Ready, Sam worked for several organization including RTI International, Corus International, Matt MacDonalds, and American Bar Association globally in various roles. Sam served as Deputy Director, International Finance, Regional controller and Senior advisor among many roles he held in the past. Sam supported project startups, global audits, budget development, capacity building, system and policy implementation, and internal control.

Sam holds a Master of Business Administration, in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University, Sam also holds undergraduate degrees in Accounting from Binghamton University and Associate Degree from Broom Community College in Business Administration. Sam also holds a project management certificate from Project Management Training Institute (PMTI).

In his spare time, Sam enjoys playing Tennis, photography and traveling with the family. He also volunteers time to non-profit organizations.
